We are seeking dedicated and energetic individuals to join our team as Picker/Packers in Nashville, Tennessee. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking items from warehouse shelves and preparing them for shipment. This is a crucial position within our logistics operations, ensuring that our customers receive their orders correctly and on time. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You will be expected to maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all warehouse safety protocols. Attention to detail is paramount to minimize errors and ensure customer satisfaction. This role requires a commitment to productivity and accuracy.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products based on order slips.
- Inspect items for damage before packing.
- Pack items securely and efficiently using appropriate materials.
- Label packages accurately for shipment.
- Maintain inventory accuracy by scanning items during picking and packing.
- Adhere to all company policies and safety guidelines.
- Operate warehouse equipment as needed.
- Meet daily picking and packing targets.
- Report any discrepancies or issues to the supervisor immediately.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or picking/packing role is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic warehouse environment.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Willingness to wear required PPE at all times.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to workplace safety.
Working Conditions:
This position involves frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting. Exposure to varying warehouse temperatures is possible. Safety is our top priority, and all employees are expected to follow strict safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth within our logistics network.
