As a Material Handler, you will be instrumental in the efficient movement and organization of goods within our facility. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Verify incoming inventory against purchase orders.
- Stage materials for outbound shipments.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to 5S principles.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure operational readiness.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counting as needed.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy Lifting, up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and protocols.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
