Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from designated warehouse locations based on electronic orders and RF scanner prompts.
- Verify product codes, quantities, and quality against order requirements.
- Package picked items securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Stage orders in the correct area for the shipping department.
- Meet established performance metrics for picking speed and accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment within your assigned picking zones.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including mandatory PPE usage.
- Report any inventory discrepancies, damaged goods, or potential safety hazards to supervision promptly.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed, contributing to overall logistics efficiency.
- Participate in ongoing training to enhance skills and knowledge of warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in an order picking role or warehouse environment is preferred.
- Proficiency with RF scanning devices and order picking technology.
- Ability to read and interpret picking lists and product labels accurately.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, reach, and perform repetitive lifting up to 40 lbs throughout the shift.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse safety standards and the proper use of PPE.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume logistics environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential for this role.
