Responsibilities:
- Conduct cycle counts and physical inventories of warehouse stock.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Track the movement of goods into and out of the warehouse.
- Generate inventory reports for management.
- Monitor stock levels and alert management to potential shortages or overages.
- Organize and maintain the warehouse storage area for optimal efficiency.
- Ensure all inventory is properly labeled and stored.
- Implement and enforce inventory control policies and procedures.
- Assist with receiving and shipping processes as needed to ensure accurate inventory.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in inventory control or a similar role is required.
- Proficiency with inventory management software and MS Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform manual lifting of up to 40 lbs.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and the use of appropriate PPE.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
