We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic logistics team in Indianapolis, Indiana. As a Warehouse Worker, you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our distribution center, ensuring that products are received, stored, and shipped accurately and on time. Your responsibilities will include general labor tasks, assisting with inventory counts, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and operating equipment as needed. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Store merchandise in designated locations, ensuring proper rotation and organization.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, verifying accuracy before dispatch.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with cycle counts to maintain stock accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Assist with general warehouse duties, including sweeping, mopping, and waste removal.
- Report any damages, discrepancies, or safety hazards to supervision immediately.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly operational goals.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, particularly those related to safety and security.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management.
- Familiarity with safety procedures and the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong commitment to workplace safety.
- Experience with RF scanners and warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
