Our fast-growing company in Provo, Utah, is looking for a detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our logistics team. As a Shipping Clerk, you will be responsible for ensuring that all outgoing shipments are accurately prepared, documented, and dispatched. This role is integral to maintaining customer satisfaction and the smooth functioning of our supply chain. You will work closely with warehouse staff and carriers to coordinate the movement of goods. A key focus of this position is upholding high standards of Safety and operational efficiency. The use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory. This is a great opportunity to develop expertise in shipping procedures and logistics management. Responsibilities include:
- Processing and preparing outgoing shipments accurately and efficiently.
- Verifying order details against shipping manifests and packing lists.
- Labeling packages and preparing shipping documentation (e.g., Bills of Lading, shipping labels).
- Coordinating with shipping carriers to schedule pickups and track shipments.
- Inspecting outgoing shipments for proper packaging and damage.
- Maintaining accurate shipping records and logs.
- Communicating with customers and internal teams regarding shipment status.
- Operating shipping software and equipment.
- Ensuring compliance with all shipping regulations and company policies.
- Assisting with inventory counts as needed.
- Maintaining a clean and organized shipping area.
- Supporting the logistics team with various tasks.
- Adhering to all Safety protocols, including proper Lifting techniques.
