We are seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist for our Detroit, Michigan facility. This pivotal role ensures the accuracy, integrity, and efficient management of our warehouse inventory, which is fundamental to our logistics operations. You will conduct regular cycle counts, perform full physical inventories, investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, and maintain precise inventory records within our Warehouse Management System (WMS). Your analytical skills will be key in identifying trends, implementing process improvements to minimize loss, and optimizing stock levels for maximum efficiency. Responsibilities include tracking the movement of goods, managing stock rotation (FIFO/LIFO), and ensuring proper storage conditions. This role requires the ability to perform regular Lifting of items and wear necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). A strong understanding of inventory control principles and best practices in the logistics industry is essential. We foster a culture of safety, and adherence to all safety regulations is paramount.
