This is a vital role in our logistics chain, responsible for a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse. Your duties will include receiving and processing incoming stock, picking and filling orders from shelves, packing and shipping orders, and organizing and retrieving stock within the warehouse. A strong focus on safety is essential; you will be required to wear appropriate PPE and follow all established safety guidelines, including safe lifting techniques, to prevent injuries. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and put away incoming inventory.
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling and staging.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock checks.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE and safe lifting practices.
- Identify and report any damaged goods or safety hazards.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.
- Contribute to a positive and productive warehouse atmosphere.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and basic logistics principles.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Knowledge of safety procedures, including the proper use of PPE and safe lifting techniques.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
