Our Atlanta, Georgia facility is looking for a diligent Receiving Clerk. This role is the first point of contact for incoming inventory and plays a vital part in our supply chain logistics. As a Receiving Clerk, you will be responsible for accepting, inspecting, and verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders. Accurate data entry and documentation are crucial. Your tasks will include unloading goods, checking for damages, recording received items, and coordinating with inventory control. A strong emphasis is placed on Safety; all employees must comply with Safety protocols and wear provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position may involve some Lifting of packages and materials, typically up to 30 lbs. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and possesses good communication skills. Previous experience in receiving or warehouse operations is preferred.
