We are seeking motivated Warehouse Workers to join our dynamic team in Portland, Oregon. This role is essential for the smooth operation of our distribution center, contributing directly to our logistics efficiency. As a Warehouse Worker, you will be involved in various aspects of warehouse management, including receiving and processing incoming stock, picking and filling orders accurately, packing and shipping orders, and maintaining a safe and organized workspace. We are committed to ensuring a secure environment for all our employees, which includes strict adherence to Safety protocols and the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, gloves, and sturdy footwear. This position demands physical capability, requiring consistent Lifting of items up to 50 lbs and engaging in other strenuous activities throughout the shift. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be detail-oriented, and possess the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics role is advantageous, and we provide thorough training for candidates who demonstrate potential and a commitment to excellence. Responsibilities:
- Receive, identify, and store incoming warehouse stock and materials.
- Accurately pick orders based on provided lists or system data.
- Pack products securely for shipment, ensuring quality and protection.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Operate pallet jacks and other manual warehouse equipment.
- Follow all company Safety policies and procedures meticulously.
- Wear all required PPE consistently and correctly.
- Conduct inventory checks and assist with stocktaking.
- Support the logistics team with any additional tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Demonstrated ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Reliable attendance and a proactive work attitude.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- Good interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Previous experience in warehouse operations or logistics is preferred.
- Commitment to understanding and implementing Safety procedures.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently when necessary.
