We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team in Houston, Texas. This role is crucial to our daily operations, ensuring efficient and accurate handling of goods from receipt to shipment. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that keep our logistics moving smoothly. Your primary duties will involve picking, packing, and staging orders with precision, loading and unloading trucks, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment. We are committed to your safety and well-being, so adherence to all safety protocols is paramount. This includes the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided by the company, such as safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toed boots. You will be expected to perform physical tasks, including considerable Lifting of items up to 50 lbs regularly. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unpack, and accurately record incoming inventory.
- Pick and pack orders according to customer specifications.
- Stage goods for shipment, ensuring correct labeling and routing.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Operate warehouse equipment as needed (training provided).
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing required PPE.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and reconciliation.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including regular Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus.
- Commitment to workplace Safety.
