Join our dynamic team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, as a Picker/Packer! This role is fundamental to our logistics process, ensuring that customer orders are accurately picked from inventory and efficiently packed for shipment. You will be responsible for selecting items based on order sheets, verifying quantities, and preparing them for the next stage of fulfillment. We are looking for individuals who are highly organized, detail-oriented, and possess a strong work ethic. Working in a fast-paced environment, you will contribute directly to customer satisfaction. Safety is our top priority, and all team members are required to adhere to safety protocols and utilize appropriate PPE. This position offers a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a critical warehouse function. Your accuracy and speed directly impact our operational success. Regular lifting of items up to 45 lbs is part of the daily duties. We value teamwork and a positive attitude.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from designated warehouse locations based on order lists.
- Verify product codes, quantities, and quality before packing.
- Pack items securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Operate hand tools and basic warehouse equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Follow all company safety guidelines and procedures, including proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation.
- Meet established productivity and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motions.
- Must be able to lift up to 45 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in picking and packing.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to read and understand order tickets and product labels.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the use of PPE.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Basic understanding of logistics operations.
