You will be responsible for tracking stock levels, conducting cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and maintaining organized inventory records. This position requires a methodical approach and a keen eye for detail. Working within our warehouse environment, you will collaborate with various departments to ensure smooth inventory flow. Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory checks.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in our warehouse management system (WMS).
- Track stock levels and report low stock items for reordering.
- Identify and report damaged or expired goods.
- Assist with receiving and put-away processes as needed.
- Ensure proper organization and labeling of inventory.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Generate inventory reports as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED; Associate's degree or higher in a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience as an Inventory Clerk, Inventory Control Specialist, or in a similar role.
- Proficiency with inventory management software and WMS.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform basic physical tasks, including occasional lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety practices and the importance of PPE.
- Good organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Familiarity with logistics and supply chain principles.
