We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our dynamic logistics team in Huntsville, Alabama. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently selecting items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This is a critical role in our supply chain, ensuring that our customers receive the correct products in a timely manner. You will work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing various equipment and adhering to strict safety protocols. Your ability to read pick lists, locate products, and prepare them for shipment will be essential to your success. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders from warehouse locations.
- Verify product codes and quantities against pick tickets.
- Operate electric pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Report any damaged or missing items to a supervisor.
- Assist with inventory counts as required.
- Contribute to overall team productivity and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or order picking experience preferred.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring repetitive motion and physical exertion.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs consistently.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to PPE requirements.
- Understanding of logistics principles is beneficial.
