We are seeking a dedicated Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our San Antonio, Texas warehouse team. This multifaceted role is central to our logistics operations, involving both the careful handling of incoming goods and the accurate preparation of outgoing shipments. You will be responsible for receiving inventory, verifying shipments, stocking items, picking and packing orders, and preparing shipments for dispatch. A strong commitment to Safety, proficiency in Lifting, and meticulous attention to detail are essential. This position requires the ability to work efficiently in a dynamic warehouse environment, adapt to changing priorities, and collaborate effectively with colleagues. You will utilize various warehouse equipment and systems to ensure accuracy and speed. We provide comprehensive training and all necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Understanding the end-to-end logistics process is key to success in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and document incoming shipments.
- Unload delivery vehicles and verify contents against documentation.
- Stock inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick, pack, and stage orders accurately for shipment.
- Prepare shipping labels and documentation.
- Load outgoing shipments onto trucks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Adhere to all Safety policies and procedures, including proper PPE usage and Lifting techniques.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping/receiving or general warehouse work is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently.
- Basic computer proficiency for inventory tracking.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
- Commitment to workplace Safety.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
