We are seeking a skilled and reliable Forklift Operator to join our dynamic logistics team in Provo, Utah. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts safely and efficiently to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. This role is crucial to our warehouse operations, ensuring smooth material flow and timely order fulfillment. Responsibilities include performing routine inspections of forklift equipment, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, so a strong work ethic and attention to detail are essential. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Experience with various types of forklifts is highly preferred. We are committed to providing a safe working environment for all employees and require strict adherence to all safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to transport materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently.
- Conduct pre-operational checks on forklifts and report any maintenance issues.
- Stack and stage merchandise according to storage plans.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through proper scanning and documentation.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines, including proper Lifting techniques and the use of PPE.
- Collaborate with other warehouse staff to ensure smooth workflow.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator.
- Valid forklift certification.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Commitment to Safety and adherence to all regulations.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical stamina.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
