Senior Full-Stack Engineer Needed for AI SaaS Platform Development

This is not a prototype or a simple website. This is a production-grade SaaS that must be scalable, secure, and properly architected from the start.
Proposed stack:
- frontend (login, dashboard, tool pages, billing)
- Google Cloud Run backend
- Firebase Authentication
- Stripe subscriptions (including webhooks)
- Firestore (or similar database)
- Google AI Studio / Vertex AI integration
- Secure secret management (Google Secret Manager)
We are open to alternative architectural decisions if clearly justified and aligned with scalability and security.
The platform will allow users to log in, access AI-powered tools, and pay via subscription. All business logic and AI calls must run securely on the backend.
Very Important:
We must be able to continuously develop and iterate AI tools inside Google AI Studio and push updates to the live production environment without breaking the SaaS.
This means:
- AI logic must run server-side
- Prompts and business logic must not be exposed client-side
- AI updates should not require rebuilding the entire frontend
- The architecture must support versioning, staging, and controlled releases
If you do not have experience designing this type of SaaS architecture before, this project is not a fit.
What I'm Looking For:
- Proven experience building and deploying real SaaS platforms
- Strong experience with Google Cloud (Cloud Run specifically)
- Experience implementing Stripe subscriptions and webhook handling
- Experience with Firebase Authentication
- Experience integrating AI APIs (Gemini, OpenAI, or similar)
- Strong understanding of security, access control, and IP protection
Bonus:
- Experience building AI-powered SaaS products
- Experience designing scalable backend architectures
- Experience with usage-based billing or credit systems
Contract duration of 3 to 6 months. with 10 hours per week.
