Key responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain websites and web apps hosted on SiteGround, Netlify, and Google Cloud, primarily using WordPress and modern frontend/backend technologies.
- Implement and manage integrations using Zapier, n8n, and custom API/webhook flows to connect platforms such as Segment, GA4, ChartMogul, ThriveCart, Klaviyo, and internal systems.
- Configure and maintain Segment, GA4, Google Tag Manager, AppsFlyer, and Looker Studio to deliver accurate product, marketing, and revenue analytics, including event tracking, attribution, and reporting.
- Work with Firebase (e.g., Authentication, Firestore/Realtime DB, Cloud Functions, Hosting) to support mobile and web application backends.
- Design, configure, and maintain AI‑powered workflows and agents using no‑code/low‑code tools (e.g., Zapier, n8n, hosted LLM services) to automate internal processes and customer experiences.
- Collaborate with product and engineering to embed AI capabilities into digital products (e.g., chatbots, assistants, content generation, personalised experiences), including prompt design and orchestration of API calls to AI models.
- Where appropriate, build light custom services around AI APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar) using general‑purpose programming languages and web frameworks.
- Collaborate with product and operations teams to design and maintain revenue, subscription, and funnel reporting using ChartMogul, ThriveCart, and Looker Studio.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD and deployment workflows using Bitbucket (and associated pipelines or integrations) for WordPress, serverless functions, app code, and AI‑related services.
- Use Jira for issue tracking and sprint planning, and Confluence for documenting architecture, AI workflows, and implementation details.
- Monitor and troubleshoot issues across hosting (SiteGround, Netlify, Google Cloud), apps (Firebase), analytics, AI agents, and integrations, performing root‑cause analysis and implementing long‑term fixes.
- Implement and manage integrations using Zapier, n8n, and custom API/webhook flows to connect platforms such as Segment, GA4, ChartMogul, ThriveCart, Klaviyo, Zendesk, and internal systems.
- Collaborate with customer support and operations teams to configure and maintain Zendesk (support, knowledge base, automations, and workflows), ensuring it is integrated with the broader data and tooling stack.
- Design, configure, and maintain AI‑powered workflows and agents that can surface knowledge, automate tickets, or triage customer issues across channels, including Zendesk where appropriate.

Skills and experience:
- Proven experience in a full‑stack / digital engineering / marketing‑tech engineering role.
- Strong proficiency with WordPress development (themes, child themes, custom plugins, custom post types), plus familiarity with SiteGround hosting and performance/security optimisation.
- Experience deploying and maintaining sites and micro‑frontends using Netlify and basic Google Cloud services (e.g., Cloud Run, Cloud Storage, or similar).
- Hands‑on experience with Firebase services (Authentication, Firestore/Realtime DB, Cloud Functions, Hosting) for app backends and real‑time features.
- Practical experience with Segment, GA4, AppsFlyer, and Looker Studio, including event schema design, tagging, and dashboard/report creation.
- Strong automation and integration skills using Zapier and n8n (webhooks, APIs, error handling, retries, logging).
- Familiarity with subscription and revenue analytics using ChartMogul and checkout/commerce flows using ThriveCart or similar checkout platforms.
- Experience with Klaviyo for email/SMS marketing, including segmentation, flows, and data integrations.
- Demonstrated experience building AI‑powered solutions, including:
- Designing prompts and workflows for LLM‑based tools and agents.
- Using no‑code/low‑code platforms (e.g., Zapier, n8n, other orchestration tools) to integrate AI APIs into business processes.
- Implementing basic guardrails, testing, and monitoring for AI flows (e.g., fallbacks, logging, evaluation of outputs).
- Comfortable working with Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket as core tooling for project management, documentation, and version control.
- Solid understanding of web fundamentals (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and at least one backend language (e.g., , PHP, or similar) for building and integrating services.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to translate business requirements into robust, maintainable technical and AI‑enabled solutions.
