1. Introduction
Phytochemia is a leading laboratory specializing in the analysis of natural products, including essential oils, cannabis, and plant extracts. We provide high-level expertise in chromatography, R&D, and quality control. While our website has already been translated from French to English, we are seeking a professional to refine the copy and implement a robust SEO strategy to better serve our international clientele.
2. Project Objectives
The primary goal is to elevate the English version of our website to match the scientific rigor and professional tone of our brand. We are looking for:
Linguistic Excellence: Refining the translated text for flow, tone, and idiomatic accuracy.
Technical Precision: Ensuring chemical and analytical terminology is accurate and consistent.
SEO Optimization: Increasing our visibility on English-speaking search engines for niche industry keywords.
3. Scope of Work
The selected partner will be responsible for:
Content Audit & Editing: Reviewing all core pages (Home, About, Services, Lab Analysis, R&D).
Keyword Research: Identifying high-value English keywords relevant to phytochemistry and analytical chemistry (e.g., terpene profiling, essential oil authentication, GC-MS analysis).
On-Page SEO: Optimizing Page Titles, Meta Descriptions, H1-H3 headers, and Image Alt Text.
Technical Glossary: Creating/maintaining a brief glossary of terms to ensure consistency across future English communications.
4. Required Qualifications
Native-level English proficiency with a strong command of French (to understand the source context).
Proven track record in SEO (Search Engine Optimization).
Experience in Scientific or Technical Writing (Chemistry, Biology, or Lab Services experience is highly preferred).
Ability to work within our CMS (Insert CMS, e.g., WordPress) or provide clear, ready-to-implement documents.
