Reporting to the Manager, Governance and Analytics, the Agent, Procurement Governance is a critical role responsible for maintaining the integrity and security of Cogeco's supplier ecosystem and credit card program.. You will manage the end-to-end supplier data lifecycle, from initial onboarding and verification to ongoing maintenance across all procurement systems.

Your focus will be on ensuring operational excellence, minimizing payment fraud risk, and driving compliance with company policies. As a system super-user, you will provide vital support to stakeholders, ensuring our processes are

efficient and effective.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

● Manage the registration, creation, modification, verification, maintenance, and termination processes for

supplier data profile management in our ERP, Source-to-Contract, and procurement tools. Ensure all requests

are completed timely by all contributors and the proper due diligence is performed for all tasks;

● Manage the data maintenance, archiving, and document security related to maintaining clean supplier master

databases in all systems and tools;

● Communicate and train Supplier Administrators and other contributors to the supplier data profile management on updates to the process. Ensure proper change management is executed with all users when applicable.

● Manage the banking verification due diligence process for all third parties prior to being issued payment from Cogeco, to ensure the required controls are executed to pay valid accounts owned by the requesting third party

and minimize the risk of payment fraud;

● Ensure all relevant contributors are informed of potential fraud attempts and alerts;

● Work closely with the Manager to manage the relationship with the third party service provider for banking verification;

● Act as a super-user for the business regarding the supplier modules within the ERP and Procurement systems.

Additionally, contribute to the ongoing upkeep and enhancement of the supplier management configurations in the systems and tools;

● Provide first-level support to internal and external stakeholders, in analyzing and resolving issues related to processes managed by Procurement;

● Perform support tasks to assist the Procurement team with contract management in the ERP and

Source-to-contract systems.

● Contribute to the reinforcement of the self-service approach and the accountability of stakeholders and suppliers in the purchase process;

● Manage the daily support operations of Cogeco's credit card program with internal stakeholders and the credit card provider. Assist the Manager with ensuring compliance to the credit card policies;

● Maintain and communicate business processes in English and French to ensure users have current instructions to perform the required business processes. Ensure proper change management is performed when changing or implementing new business processes;

● Perform all other related tasks, similar to the main characteristic tasks mentioned in this description;

ACADEMIC TRAINING

● College diploma (D.E.C.) in administration or other related field (or equivalent experience).

WORK EXPERIENCE

● Minimum of 1 to 3 years in a similar position (or relevant experience).

SPECIFIC SKILLS

● Possess good teamwork and interpersonal skills.

● Highly meticulous in the completion of tasks.

● Organized and able to work on multiple deliverables simultaneously.

Fluent in English and French (spoken and written) required to collaborate with stakeholders in Quebec, Ontario, and across the United States.

● Very good knowledge of Google Suite and Microsoft. Knowledge of Workday and Ivalua (purchasing and

inventory modules) are important assets.

● Ability to adapt to changing priorities and tight deadlines.
