Position Title: Inventory and Warehouse Supervisor

Location: Kelowna BC

Starting Minimum: 50,000/year

Job Type: Full Time Permanent

Position Summary:

Reporting to the General Manager or designate, the Inventory/Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for managing inventory levels, purchasing and replenishing stock, and supervising the workflow of warehouse staff to support efficient, accurate, and safe operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Purchasing

  • Replenish stock and order products daily from inter-site locations and external suppliers.
  • Purchase products using a 10‑week average to determine usage and ordering amounts.
  • Maintain strong supplier relationships and negotiate pricing when appropriate.

Inventory Control

  • Oversee all inbound and outbound inventory activities.
  • Ensure accuracy of processed, picked, transferred, and received stock.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for the Sage X3 inventory ERP system.
  • Update inventory management systems with accurate and timely data.
  • Rotate inventory based on production and expiration dates.
  • Support audits, physical inventory counts, and returns.
  • Complete all required logs, documentation, and reports.

Location Maintenance

  • Analyze and maintain warehouse locations to optimize productivity and organization.
  • Generate warehouse velocity reports and assign appropriate locations for new products.
  • Work collaboratively with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage and material-handling procedures.
  • Troubleshoot warehouse equipment issues.

Warehouse Staff Supervision

  • Assign duties and direct workflow for the warehouse team.
  • Conduct weekly meetings with the Foreman.
  • Lead weekly toolbox meetings with the warehouse team.
  • Communicate inbound shipment schedules and updates.
  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for Sage X3, supporting staff with questions and corrections.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative work environment that enhances the employee experience.
  • Assist with processing, picking orders, and receiving product as required.
  • Monitor safety standards and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 3–5 years of experience in inventory control or warehouse operations; supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong computer skills, including ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Solid understanding of warehouse processes, inventory accuracy, and material‑handling best practices.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail and the ability to prioritize in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Willingness to work in a cold environment.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks requiring lifting, carrying, and moving objects weighing 30+ lbs. safely and effectively.
  • Physical fitness and stamina to sustain prolonged periods of activity, repetitive movements, and manual labor.
