This position is an existing vacancy.

As a Bilingual Senior Underwriter or Bilingual Underwriting Consultant (experience dependent), you'll play a meaningful role in shaping underwriting decisions for Canadians coast to coast. You will apply your underwriting expertise, collaborate closely with advisors, internal and external partners, and help elevate underwriting standards across the organization.

You will…

• Review Life and Critical Illness applications in French and English, including medical, financial, and lifestyle underwriting evidence
• Maintain positive relationships with internal and external partners
• Deliver exceptional service to clients and advisors
• Identify problems and opportunities for improvement, offering potential solutions
• Contribute to impactful projects involving technology, processes, and underwriting philosophy

What we are looking for…

• 5+ years of individual life insurance underwriting experience
• Professional fluency both in written and spoken French and English
• Excellent knowledge of medical and financial underwriting
• Strong decision-making and interpersonal skills
• Experience with brokerage distribution networks is preferred.
• A degree in Business, Finance, or Health Sciences is an asset.
• FLMI and FALU certifications are an asset.

What we pay…

 $83,500 - $125,000
