Burnaby Association for Community Inclusion (BACI) has been supporting people with disabilities for decades. We've learned a lot over those years and our learning has shaped the evolution of our services, our advocacy efforts, and the way we help build inclusive communities.

Adult Residence Workers at BACI support people we serve to explore and reach their highest potential through precise implementation of person-centred support plans. Residence Worker advance inclusion by encouraging and supporting people to explore community and belonging and by increasing independence. The ideal Residence Worker candidate demonstrates creativity, ability to remain calm under pressure, a willingness to support people who may display challenging behaviour, ability to collaborate and work with an integrated care team, and a passion for supporting people to explore and expand their communities and interests

Education & Qualifications:

• Graduation from a University or Community College with an appropriate degree or certificate in Human Service OR an equivalent of education and experience may be considered. 
• First Aid/ CPR
• Non-Violent Intervention training preferred.
• A valid BC Class 5 Driver's License required. 

Salary : $ $29.76
