Purpose of a Recovery Administrator
The Recovery Administrator manages vehicle repossessions, supports customers with redemptions, and coordinates with bailiffs and auctions. They maintain accurate records, assist with billing and collections, and ensure efficient processes to support Northlake Financials' recovery and remarketing objectives.

Responsibilities of a Recovery Administrator

  • Prepare and issue warrant packages to bailiffs for vehicle seizures.
  • Maintain accurate bailiff contact information and monitor progress on assigned files.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues encountered by bailiffs.
  • Coordinate with auctions and ensure proper closure of repossession files, forwarding them to accounting.
  • Issue Notices of Intent (NOI) to customers.
  • Assist customers seeking to redeem their vehicles and educate them on retrieving their belongings.
  • Maintain organized, up-to-date spreadsheets and auction trackers, including condition report and Black Book Value data.
  • Develop and implement solutions for tracking and managing data in various formats.
  • Support billing, accounting, and RSLA documentation processes, including communication with third-party companies.
  • Assist the collections team with skip tracing as needed.
  • Provide operational support to the Manager of Recovery and Remarketing and perform other duties as required to support the team's objectives.

Qualifications of a Recovery Administrator

  • Experience in vehicle recovery, repossession, or administrative coordination.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for tracking files, spreadsheets, and auction data.
  • Excellent communication skills for coordinating with bailiffs, auctions, customers, and internal teams.
  • Proficient in administrative tasks, billing support, and record-keeping.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to troubleshoot issues and support efficient recovery processes.

Requirements of a Recovery Administrator

  • High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in business, logistics, or related field preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data tracking tools.

Compensation of a Recovery Administrator

  • Base Salary starting at $40,000 annually
