Job Description:As a Customs and Border Protection Officer, you will be part of an elite team responsible for safeguarding the nation's borders. This critical mission involves enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws to prevent illicit activities while facilitating legitimate trade and travel.
- Detain suspected violators using proper law enforcement methods
- Enforce laws relating to importing/exporting goods
- Conduct interviews in a law enforcement capacity to gather information from suspected violators
Required Skills & Qualifications:
You must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level or possess relevant education that can substitute for experience.
Experience: A minimum of one (1) year of direct work as either enforcer of federal/state/local regulations on imports/exports/trade across U.S boundaries.
Education Substitution:¨ Master’s degree OR graduate-level knowledge from renowned institution leading into law field expertise;
