As a Customs and Border Protection Officer, you will play a critical role in safeguarding the nation's economic prosperity by facilitating the flow of legitimate trade and travel while preventing the illegal entry of individuals and prohibited goods.

You will be responsible for enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations. This includes conducting inspections of individuals and conveyances as well as determining the admissibility of individuals for entry into the United States. You will also be required to prevent the smuggling of illegal drugs and other contraband.
