- As a Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officer, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding the United States' borders by enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws.
- You will facilitate the flow of legitimate trade and travel while preventing illegal activities such as smuggling of goods and people.
- The CBP officer is responsible for conducting inspections of individuals and conveyances to determine their admissibility into the country.
- In addition to enforcement duties, CBP officers are also responsible for providing assistance to travelers who require it during the inspection process.
