International Frontier Guard

The United States Customs and Border Protection is seeking highly motivated individuals to join our team as a Border Protection Officer. In this role, you will play a critical part in safeguarding the nation's borders, enforcing customs laws, and facilitating legitimate trade and travel.

• Enforce customs laws and regulations to prevent smuggling of goods and contraband into the country.


• Determine the admissibility of individuals for entry into the United States based on their background information.


• Carry out inspections of people, vehicles, cargo, luggage etc., at designated ports-of-entry.


• Maintain accurate records and documentation regarding apprehensions made during these operations.
  

The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate sound judgment in making split-second decisions while handling sensitive situations.
