CBP Officer Opportunity

Are you interested in a dynamic and challenging career with the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP)? As a CBP Officer, you will play a vital role in safeguarding our nation's borders while facilitating legitimate trade and travel.

As a CBPO, your primary duties will include enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws; conducting inspections of individuals and conveyances; determining admissibility for entry into the United States; preventing illegal entry of individuals and prohibited goods; as well as detecting smuggling activities.

• A minimum of one year specialized full-time work experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level that includes performing physical inspections of people or cargo.


• Demonstrated ability to make determinations in compliance with laws that may lead to arrests or fines based on findings.

The following education may be substituted for required experience:
• A bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university OR 1 year graduate-level education demonstrating necessary knowledge skills abilities.">
