Protection Enforcement Professional

As a CBPO, you will be part of the Department of Homeland Security workforce, protecting American interests and securing our nation. You will have the opportunity to work in various locations throughout the United States and engage with diverse communities.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong analytical abilities, and the ability to make rapid decisions under pressure. A minimum of one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level is required for this position.

• Detaining suspected violators
• Enforcing customs laws
• Utilizing intelligence techniques

An annual base salary ranging from $61,111 - $124,443 per year is offered for this position. Locality pay varies by duty location. Additionally,
a fully trained CBPO may be eligible for up to $45,000 in overtime pay annually.
