Elite Customs Enforcement Specialist

• Detecting and interrogating individuals suspected of violating immigration laws, inspecting documents and personal effects to verify citizenship or potential violations;
• Preventing and apprehending undocumented noncitizens and smugglers at the borders by conducting surveillance from concealed positions using night vision scopes during nighttime operations;

The Border Protection agency hires full-time entry-level Law Enforcement Officer opportunities for this position. The annual base salary varies per grade, ranging from $49,739 - $89,518 per year. A fully trained Border Patrol Agent may be eligible for up to 25% additional compensation under the Border Pay Reform Act.
