Job Description:

• A Border Patrol Agent is a law enforcement professional responsible for safeguarding the United States' borders, detecting and preventing illegal entry of people and contraband, and enforcing immigration laws.

Key Responsibilities:

• Detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws


• Preventing undocumented noncitizens from entering or exiting the country


• Maintaining surveillance to detect smuggling activities


• Performing farm checks, building checks, traffic checks, city patrols, and transportation checks
