• CBPOs are responsible for enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws at ports of entry.


• They conduct inspections of individuals, vehicles, and cargo to ensure compliance with regulations.


• CBPOs also facilitate legitimate trade and travel while preventing the smuggling of contraband goods into the country.

• A minimum one year specialized experience equivalent to GS-9 level or higher;
• Detaining suspected violators using proper law enforcement methods;
