Job Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Inventory Control Specialist to join our team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. Your expertise will directly impact our logistics efficiency and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies promptly.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS).
  • Implement and enforce inventory control procedures and policies.
  • Monitor stock levels, identify slow-moving or obsolete items, and recommend adjustments.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement in our logistics.
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of inventory to prevent damage or loss.
  • Work closely with warehouse staff to resolve inventory-related issues.
  • Uphold strict safety standards, including the correct use of PPE.
  • Assist in training other staff members on inventory control best practices.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience as an Inventory Control Specialist or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency with WMS software and other inventory management tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 30 lbs occasionally.
  • Knowledge of logistics and supply chain principles.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and the importance of PPE in a warehouse setting.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
