Join our San Antonio, Texas warehouse as a Shipping Clerk! We are seeking individuals dedicated to ensuring the smooth and accurate processing of outbound shipments. Your responsibilities will include preparing packages, verifying order accuracy, coordinating with carriers, and maintaining meticulous shipping records. This position is vital to our **Logistics** operations, ensuring customer satisfaction through reliable delivery. You will work as part of a team to meet daily shipping targets while upholding the highest standards of **Safety** and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and process outgoing shipments.
- Accurately pick and pack items according to order specifications.
- Prepare shipping labels and documentation for all parcels.
- Schedule pickups with common carriers (UPS, FedEx, USPS, etc.).
- Track shipments and provide updates to internal teams.
- Maintain organized and accurate shipping records.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and scanners safely.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient workflow.
- Adhere strictly to company policies and **Safety** regulations.
- Wear appropriate PPE as required.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse shipping role is advantageous.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with shipping software is a plus.
- Excellent organizational abilities and a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy environment.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and perform moderate Lifting (up to 30 lbs).
- Understanding of warehouse **Logistics** principles.
- Commitment to workplace **Safety** and adherence to all **Safety** protocols.
- Team player with good communication skills.
