Job Summary:
We are hiring a Shipping & Receiving Associate for our busy warehouse in Nashville, Tennessee. This role is a critical link in our logistics chain, responsible for the accurate and efficient handling of incoming and outgoing goods. You will be involved in both the receiving of inventory from suppliers and the dispatching of orders to customers. The ideal candidate is organized, diligent, and possesses a strong understanding of warehouse procedures. Responsibilities include unloading incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders, stocking inventory, and preparing outgoing orders for shipment. You will also operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely, manage shipping documentation, and coordinate with carriers. A strong commitment to Safety is essential, and you must adhere to all company safety protocols, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position involves regular Lifting of items up to 50 lbs and requires a good level of physical stamina. The ability to maintain accurate records and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment is crucial. Responsibilities:
  • Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
  • Verify received goods against purchase orders and packing slips.
  • Stock inventory in designated warehouse locations.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.
  • Prepare shipping documentation, including bills of lading.
  • Coordinate with shipping carriers for pickups and deliveries.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
