Responsibilities
Your Role:
- Housekeeping routine tasks include (but not limited to):
- Unload/Load dishwashers
- Rinse coffee machines
- Refill coffee beans when low
- Collect beer bottles into original boxes
- Dispose staff food (with containers from previous day) from fridges
- Check kitchen supplies and stock where required
- Load fridges with beverages
- Clean counters, tables and sinks, appliances (microwaves, toasters, fridges)
- Remove calcium from beverage dispensers
- Flatten cardboard boxes into recycle bins or freight room
- Stock sanitizer wipes, hand sanitizer, paper towels at various stations.
- Stock washrooms with feminine hygiene supplies.
- Clear or push down waste bins when necessary.
- Clean and organize all boardrooms and meeting rooms on each floor (note building cleaning contractors only collect garbage and vacuum, and they also maintain the entire washrooms).
- Wipe portable and fixed whiteboards weekly.
- Open blinds for nearby plants.
- Count and record shred bin levels monthly.
- Clean select managers' offices and stock fridge.
- Count, order, receive and put away physical inventory and supplies for kitchens.
- Receive, distribute and cleanup for various catered events such as Monthly Breakfast and Birthdays, Client and Internal Meetings.
- Be aware of the building's waste program. Sort/place waste into the proper organic, recyclable, cardboard or waste container.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
About You:
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Must be able to complete tasks with efficiency and quality
- A customer service oriented attitude
- Ability to lift up to 35lbs
- Computer skills an asset
- High School diploma an asset.
Salary Range: CAD 45,000 - CAD 55,000
- This position is for an existing vacancy.
