In this role, you will oversee all front-gate and security operations, balancing exceptional hospitality with effective security practices to ensure the team remains attentive, professional, and service-oriented at all times. As a supervisor, you will lead by example, uphold Club standards, and ensure the safety, privacy, and smooth flow of daily operations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact at the security entrance, ensuring a professional and welcoming first impression for all members, guests, employees, contractors, and visitors.
- Verify the identity and authorization of all individuals requesting access to the premises.
- Direct authorized individuals to designated parking areas and appropriate Club entrances.
- Announce arriving members, guests, and contractors to the appropriate Club contact prior to granting access.
- Maintain accurate logs for all visitors entering and exiting the property.
- Monitor all incoming and outgoing activity of members, guests, employees, customers, vendors, and suppliers.
- Oversee and conduct opening, closing, and routine patrols to identify and prevent unauthorized access, safety hazards, or security breaches.
- Prepare clear and accurate reports on daily activities, incidents, equipment issues, property damage, theft, or unusual occurrences.
- Respond promptly and professionally to radio calls, alarms, incidents, and disturbances, in accordance with established procedures.
- Report all security incidents, concerns, or irregularities in a timely manner.
- Oversee and monitor CCTV systems covering the clubhouse and surrounding premises.
- Review CCTV footage as required and preserve recordings for internal investigations or law enforcement purposes.
- Supervise overall security operations on the Club property.
- Ensure the security team comply with Club service standards, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure proper operation, use, and maintenance of security equipment and devices.
- Coordinate with police, fire, or emergency services when required.
- Develop weekly security schedules in accordance with seasonal staffing needs, Club operations, and catering events.
- Participate and complete required training and professional development seminar.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications:
- Valid Security Guard License, First Aid/CPR, and Smart Serve Certifications.
- Strong communication, leadership, and conflict management skills.
- Ability to professionally address members, guests, and colleagues at all time.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions with minimal supervision.
- Physical ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs, sit for extended periods while monitoring security systems, and stand/walk during patrols and assigned duties.
- Demonstrate a positive, professional, and composed demeanor at all times, showing respect and courtesy toward members, guests, and team members.
- Flexible availability, including the ability to work extended hours as required.
