Points to be Noted:
The expected pay rate range for this position is $95/Hr - $100/Hr, depending on experience, skills, and internal equity.
In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for other forms of compensation, including bonuses, commission (if applicable), and/or other incentives, as well as a comprehensive benefits package.
Final compensation will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, and market factors

Role Overview:
Join National Office in Commercial Banking as a Project Manager - Expert, where you will lead and support strategic initiatives across Small Business and Commercial Banking markets.
This expert-level role involves collaborating with cross-functional partners (including Finance and other key stakeholders) to drive end-to-end project delivery, maintain alignment with portfolio objectives, and deliver impactful results in a dynamic banking environment.
The BFS National Office supports strategic operations and initiatives for Commercial Banking, fostering a collaborative, results-oriented culture focused on innovation, stakeholder alignment, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities - A Typical Day in the Life:
You will engage daily in hands-on project leadership, stakeholder communication, and documentation in a fast-paced setting. Core activities include:
Planning and Scheduling: Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation using tools like Project and JIRA.
Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular updates on project status, priorities, risks, and expectations to team members, stakeholders, and senior leadership. Prepare clear, executive-ready reports and summaries.
Risk and Issue Management: Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks/issues; escalate as needed and track resolutions.
Documentation & Governance: Maintain accurate, up-to-date project artifacts (charters, plans, reports, meeting minutes, action items, decisions); ensure centralized storage (e.g., SharePoint, Confluence).
Lessons Learned & Continuous Improvement: Capture post-project insights, document best practices, and apply learnings to enhance future initiatives.
Team & Decision Guidance: Facilitate consensus-driven decisions, guide cross-functional teams, and align efforts with broader program/portfolio goals.
Collaborate across Commercial Banking, Finance, and functional partners to execute projects with a focus on strategic outcomes.
Project Context:
Specific project name(s) and detailed scope to be shared during interviews (TBD). Role supports strategic execution in Commercial Banking initiatives.
Essential Technical & Tool Proficiency:
Project Management Tools: Hands-on expertise in Project and JIRA for planning, tracking, and execution.
Collaboration & Documentation: Proficient in platforms such as Confluence, SharePoint for centralized artifact management and team collaboration.
Reporting & Visualization: Advanced skills in PowerPoint, Excel, and other data visualization tools for creating insightful reports and executive presentations.
Comfortable working in bank's internal systems and hybrid collaboration environments.
Must-Have Qualifications & Experience:
5+ years of progressive experience in project management within the banking or financial services industry, with strong understanding of business/project management in Commercial Banking or similar.
Proven hands-on experience leading end-to-end projects from initiation through closure.
Demonstrated ability to guide teams and stakeholders toward informed, consensus-based decisions.
Experience aligning program/portfolio objectives to achieve strategic business outcomes.
Exceptional storytelling skills - both written and verbal - with meticulous attention to detail in preparing reports, summaries, and communications for product teams and senior/executive leadership.
Growth mindset: Proactive, inquisitive approach; stays current with industry/consumer trends; uses data to generate insights, question the "why," and drive process improvements.
Nice-to-Have:
PMP (Project Management Professional) designation or equivalent certification.
Prior exposure to Commercial Banking-specific initiatives or regulatory/strategic projects in financial services.
