Über
Write one SEO-optimized blog post per week, 1,500–2,500 words, on topics relevant to my photography business and Hawaii. Topics include weddings, elopements, couples photography, what to wear on a photoshoot, getting married in Hawaii, national park permits and elopement locations, island guides, and more. Each post should be keyword-researched, include a meta description and formatted headers, and be delivered as an Adobe PDF for my review before I upload it to my website.
Social Media Content – Instagram, TikTok & Facebook (3x per week)
Select photos and video clips from my provided galleries to create engaging posts for Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook. Before anything goes live, you will send me the selected content, caption, hashtags, and any proposed audio or music for approval. Once approved, you will publish across all three platforms. Creative captions, reels, slideshows, and trending audio are encouraged.
Instagram Engagement (Ongoing)
Regularly like, follow, and leave genuine comments on posts from photographers, wedding planners, venues, florists, hair and makeup artists, officiants, and other wedding industry vendors across Hawaii and all islands. The goal is to organically grow my presence and build relationships within the Hawaii wedding community.
NOTE: We can start with blogs and then decide if it is a good fit for both of us before adding additional tasks.
What I'm Looking For:
Experience managing social media accounts, ideally for a creative or photography business
Strong writing skills with an understanding of SEO and blog formatting
Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook - including Reels and short-form video content
An eye for aesthetics and the ability to write captions that feel authentic and engaging
Reliable, communicative, and detail-oriented
Ability to work independently and meet weekly deadlines
Experience with Adobe PDF or similar tools for document formatting
Bonus: familiarity with Hawaii, the wedding industry, or photography
What I'll Provide:
Access to my photo and video galleries (via shared Google Drive or Dropbox)
Login access or platform manager access for all social accounts (OnePassword)
Brand direction, examples, and feedback to help you get started
Clear weekly communication and timely content approvals
Hours & Commitment
This is a part-time ongoing role. Estimated 10–15 hours per week depending on workload. I'm looking for someone dependable who can grow with my business long term.
