We are hiring a senior WordPress developer to build a completely NEW WordPress staging environment from scratch (fresh install), strictly from a finalized, brand-new Figma homepage blueprint and technical specification.
This is NOT a redesign or restructuring of an existing WordPress site.
Non-negotiable:
• Custom Gutenberg blocks only (no Elementor, Divi, WPBakery or page builders)
• Dynamic WP_Query modules: Hero Featured, Latest News, Special Coverage, and a Survey module (frontend voting + backend storage + results display)
• Clean child theme architecture
• Semantic HTML and fully responsive layout
Budget: $2,000 total (fixed price).
Payments strictly via Upwork escrow, divided into milestones tied to verified deliverables. No 50/50 advance and no off-platform payments.
To apply, please include:
1) One live example of custom Gutenberg blocks you personally built (link required)
2) A brief confirmation that you will personally implement the project (no outsourcing or agency handoff)
Contract duration of 1 to 3 months.
