The Project:
I am looking for a creative video editor to produce a high-quality video essay minutes) about the dark reality of the Webtoon industry and the tragic story of the author SIU (Tower of God).
The Vibe:
The video is NOT a standard anime review. It is a documentary/video essay.
Tone: Cynical, melancholic, brutal, atmospheric.
Visual Style: Dark aesthetics, film grain, glitches, CRT effects, mixed with high-energy K-Pop/Manhwa edits.
Audio: Sound design is CRITICAL. I need heartbeats, scratching sounds, medical drones, and silence used effectively.
References / Inspiration:
SunnyV2 (for the pacing and cynical tone).
Moon (for the dark atmosphere).
"Ego" style video essays.
What I Provide:
The Script: A very detailed script with timecodes, specific visual instructions, and music choices.
The Voiceover: High-quality audio file (Language: (Préciser ici : French ou English)).
Music Guidelines: I have a list of specific OSTs and moods required.
What You Will Do:
Sourcing: Find relevant stock footage (dark offices, medical, Seoul night), anime clips (Tower of God, Solo Leveling), and interviews.
Editing: Assemble the footage to match the voiceover pacing.
Sound Design: Mix music and SFX to tell the story (e.g., sound of a pencil scratching painfully loud).
Visual Effects: Text overlays (kinetic typography), split screens, color grading to make bright footage look depressing/dark.
Requirements:
Experience with Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or After Effects.
Ability to understand the "Video Essay" format.
Passion for Anime/Manga/Webtoon is a HUGE plus (you need to know what to look for).
Ability to work with a budget of $200 (Fixed Price).
