This role is critical for maintaining the integrity and efficiency of our Logistics infrastructure, ensuring that all equipment and systems are operational. Your duties will include performing routine maintenance on machinery, troubleshooting equipment issues, managing inventory of spare parts, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance on warehouse machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
- Maintain inventory of spare parts and order replacements as needed.
- Ensure all equipment is operated in compliance with safety standards.
- Assist with the installation and setup of new equipment.
- Document maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Respond to equipment malfunctions and assist in resolving issues quickly.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
- Experience with various warehouse equipment (e.g., conveyors, forklifts, balers).
- Familiarity with Logistics equipment and systems.
- Commitment to upholding the highest standards of workplace Safety .
- Ability to perform moderate physical tasks, including Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Must wear appropriate PPE during all work activities.
