Border Security Specialist

As a Customs and Border Protection Officer, you will be part of our dedicated workforce that safeguards the nation's borders, prevents illicit activity, and fosters economic prosperity.

Your responsibilities will include enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws; facilitating legitimate trade and travel; conducting inspections of individuals and conveyances; determining admissibility for entry into the United States; and preventing illegal entry.

• Minimum one (1) year of specialized experience in law enforcement or a related field
• Degree substitution: Master's degree or higher from an accredited institution
• Combination of experience & education: Specialized experience AND graduate-level education leading to a master's degree

• An annual base salary ranging from $61,111 to $
• A career ladder with grade level progression from GS-5 to GS-12
