### Essential Responsibilities:
#### Law Enforcement Duties:
Pursue violators attempting entry into the United States through various means (land ports,
ferry terminals, or small airports) for arrest or detention with due regard for personal safety.
a visible presence at border areas including interior search operations.
safeguard classified information and other sensitive material related to operational planning activities. (Note: Take particular care when handling intelligence regarding potential security threats.)
maintain open lines of communication among different agencies involved during investigations , focusing on coordination requirements throughout all aspects – preliminary interviews up until pre-trial procedures;
documents seizures can also involve dealing directly w/ victims whenever possible:
