The United States Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the position of Customs and Border Protection Officer. As a CBPO, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security of our nation's borders while facilitating legitimate trade and travel.

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about law enforcement, international relations, and community service. The successful candidate will be responsible for enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws; conducting inspections of individuals and conveyances; determining admissibility; preventing illegal entry of prohibited goods; assessing risk factors to determine potential threats to national security.

Responsibilities include patrolling assigned areas along U.S.-Canada border ports-of-entry or coordinating cargo searches during high-risk operations at sea ports as well as reviewing passenger manifest information prior boarding commercial flights.
