Border Patrol Agents play a vital role in safeguarding the nation's borders, protecting its citizens and deterring illicit activities.
This position requires individuals who can make sound judgments and decisions in high-pressure situations. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment and possess strong analytical abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Detecting and questioning people suspected of violating immigration laws
- Preventing and apprehending undocumented noncitizens at or near the borders
- Gathering information through observation, examination of documents and records
Hiring Requirements:
Experience: One (1) year of general work experience demonstrating ability to take charge, make sound decisions & maintain composure under stress;
OR Education Substitution: Bachelor's degree with Superior Academic Achievement; OR Combination of Experience & Education.
Benefits:
