Protect America's Borders as a Law Enforcement Officer
Duty assignments available at the time of offer may include locations along our nation's Southwest Border. Relocation to these areas is possible and relocation assistance may be provided.
We are seeking highly skilled individuals with strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a desire to work in an elite team environment. As a Border Patrol Agent (BPA) , you will play a critical role in safeguarding America by preventing and deterring illicit activity.
- Inspect documents and possessions for violations of immigration laws
- Pursue suspects who violate customs laws during inspections or border patrols
- Conduct traffic stops and document incidents involving vehicles transporting undocumented aliens or smuggling operations
The BPA position offers opportunities for career growth with regular promotions based on performance.
Career Requirements: A high school diploma or equivalent experience is required; further education can substitute up to two years of general work experience when combined with relevant coursework from institutions accredited by regional accrediting organizations.
