- A Border Patrol Agent is a federal law enforcement officer responsible for safeguarding America's borders and protecting its people.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws.
- Preventing the smuggling of noncitizens across the border by utilizing surveillance techniques and tracking physical evidence.
- Maintaining contact with informants to gather information about potential security threats.
