Customs and Border Protection Officer Job Description

The position of Customs and Border Protection Officer involves enforcing laws and regulations, facilitating trade and travel, conducting inspections, determining admissibility of individuals for entry into the United States.

Main duties include preventing illegal activities such as smuggling contraband goods. The officer must be able to learn about various laws regulating customs procedures which may vary from case to case.
